It is worth separating two things, because they point in opposite directions. Meggafast is not a dead host or a fake storefront — the order page works, the plans are current, and the copyright line reads 2026. What is broken is the public website around it.

Every shared plan includes unlimited transfer, a 1 Gbps port, FTP over TLS, SSH root access and a self-service dashboard. Public trackers are explicitly allowed, with a 2:1 ratio applied on them — a policy few hosts state so plainly, and a genuine plus if public trackers are what you use.
Three Things to Check Before You Pay
1. The 8% PayPal surcharge is real and it is on top. Every plan on the order page carries “+8% paypal Transaction fee”. That turns the £4.00 entry plan into roughly £4.32 and the £30 dedicated box into about £32.40. Most hosts absorb payment processing; passing it to the customer is legal and disclosed here, but it means the headline price is not the price you pay.
2. The 500 GB plan is listed at two different prices on the same page. The plan grid shows £6.00/month and the order dropdown shows £7.00 for what appears to be the same box. We have not been able to establish which one is charged. Confirm in writing before ordering.
